Winter Haven, Florida

Commercial cleaning in Winter Haven, personally overseen.

Winter Haven has a wide range of buildings for our Davenport-based crew to scope: multi-story offices downtown, medical group practices, and a logistics park on the rail line. We treat each the same way. A walkthrough with the owner, a written scope you can read and change, and the same crew on every visit. You keep your attention on your team and your customers, and you know who is responsible for the building.

Local context

Winter Haven buildings, from downtown to the rail spur

SouthState plans a five-story, 40,035-square-foot regional operations center on Central Avenue downtown, with about 125 employees and a pedestrian bridge to the city parking garage. Construction was expected to begin in July 2026. A multi-story office means elevators, stairwells and floors that empty at different hours. We'll ask which floors are occupied late and how the crew moves between them.

At the Central Florida Integrated Logistics Park, a 244,000-square-foot Chick-fil-A distribution center is planned for 2027, next to an existing Coca-Cola warehouse and a canning plant. Food-grade buildings keep the office side and the floor strictly apart, and so does our scope. And in July 2025, Bond Clinic and its more than 90 providers joined AdventHealth, which means practice offices around the city are being relabeled and reorganized. We'll discuss which waiting rooms and staff areas are ours to keep.

What we plan for in Winter Haven

Multi-story offices downtown

In a building with several floors, the scope reads by floor. Lobby and elevator cabs nightly, each occupied floor's restrooms and break room nightly, conference rooms after meetings, private offices as agreed. We ask how the building is secured after hours and whether the crew can hold the elevator on one floor at a time.

Medical group practice offices

For a physician practice we scope the nonclinical rooms: waiting area, check-in counter, hallways, staff break room and public restrooms. Exam rooms, labs and anything clinical are excluded, and the scope says so in plain words. We do not imply clinical disinfection or sterilization. The boundary is set at the walkthrough, with your practice manager.

Office areas in logistics and food buildings

A distribution center's office side has a driver lounge, a dispatch office, locker rooms and a break room that sees three shifts. We keep the scope to those rooms and the path in from the parking lot. The warehouse floor and any food-grade zones stay excluded unless you ask us to discuss them.

What the written scope covers

The scope lists each room, the tasks, the frequency and what is excluded. It names the supplies we bring, what you keep, and the service window. In a downtown office it might read floor by floor: lobby and restrooms five nights, conference rooms twice a week, private offices weekly. For a practice office, the waiting room and public restrooms nightly and the break room three times a week, with exam rooms excluded. For a logistics building, the driver lounge and locker rooms daily, timed around shift changes. Nothing is in the agreement by assumption.

How the work is organized

It begins with a walkthrough at your building, with the owner, at a time when you can show us around. We listen, take notes and ask about hours and access. Then we draft the scope and send it for your review. When you agree, we set the schedule and the service window. The same crew comes each visit, and the owner stays involved in the work as it goes. When something changes in the building, a new floor, a new practice name, a new shift, we change the scope with it, in writing.

What a walkthrough in Winter Haven covers

In a downtown office building we start at the street entrance and take the elevator, because that's the route your visitors take. We look at the lobby floor, the cabs, the restrooms on each floor and the conference rooms. In a practice office we start at the check-in counter and the waiting room chairs, then ask where the clinical line is. We write the scope in the order you point things out.

Questions we hear in Winter Haven

Our practice used to be Bond Clinic and is now AdventHealth. Does that change the scope?

It can change who signs, and sometimes which rooms are yours to assign. The rooms we clean stay the same: waiting area, check-in, hallways, staff areas and public restrooms, with clinical rooms excluded. If your practice manager or the new administration wants the boundary drawn differently, we rewrite that part of the scope.

Can you clean one floor of a downtown building while other floors are still working?

Yes, if the building allows it. The scope sets a start time for the floors that empty first and a later one for the rest. We ask about after-hours access, elevator use and where the crew keeps supplies between floors. The walkthrough is where we work that out.

What does a certificate of insurance cover, and when do we get one?

A certificate of insurance, or COI, is a document from our insurer listing our active coverage and limits. Property managers of larger buildings usually ask for it before the crew's first visit. Tell us who it should name, and we request it. There is no long-term contract attached to it.
